CTA Roofing has their office in Newark, Delaware, but operates throughout the state of Delaware and also does work in Eastern Maryland and southern Pennsylvania. They specialize in flat commercial roofs (EPDM, TPO, and PVC) but are also highly skilled in metal roofing, metal edging, metal wall panels, metal siding, and commercial shingles. Projects they have completed consist of: universities, schools, warehouses, shopping centers, strip malls, restaurants, apartments, and more.

Roof Mechanic 1

The roofing laborer position is an entry level position into CTA. Roofing laborers are responsible for assisting mechanics and the foreman in the completion of tasks related to removing and installing or repairing roofing systems. They are asked to maintain the project sites by cleaning up project related debris and trash and assisting foreman and mechanics. They may also be called on to gather or distribute materials on the project sites. We’re looking for people who want to learn the business from the ground up. You’ll be in a position to experience all of the different aspects of the commercial roofing industry. The hours are 6:00am to 2:30pm most days. Pay is based on experience.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • 0-3 years of experience
  • Must be eager to learn new skills and be self-motivated
  • Must be able to lift 50+ lbs, stand all day, and work outside in all weather conditions
  • Must have a valid drivers license and clean driving history
  • Must be able to pass background check and drug test
  • Must have reliable transportation to our office daily

Roof Mechanic 2

The roof technicians at CTA are responsible for setting up project sites, including equipment, protecting the building and building supplies, assembling materials into a complete and functional roofing system, understanding how materials and roofing systems go together and come apart in order to complete repairs, communicating with foreman and supervisors in order to complete daily goals, and maintaining project sites in a neat and orderly fashion. Technicians are required to work in a safe manner, complying with OSHA safety standards. The hours are 6:00am to 2:30pm most days. Pay is based on experience. 

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • 5 years of experience
  • Must be experienced in installing at least two of the following: EPDM, TPO, Standing Seam, or Shingles
  • Must be able to lift 50+ lbs, stand all day, and work outside in all weather conditions
  • Must own, or be willing to purchase, all hand tools necessary for daily work
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and have a clean driving history
  • Must be able to pass a background check and drug test
  • Must have reliable transportation to our office daily
